Too many people in the team.
LOL. But exactly so. One too many people in a two man team.
Years ago it occurred to me that the gummints vulnerability was it’s inability to deal with isolated, lone actors. In the years since moose limb terrorists have discovered this. We are fortunate they are still few. For many of us our military training makes it difficult to consider an operation where one has no ability to communicate. No ability to coordinate. Our oppressors have made these basic elements impossible.
Yet it occurred to me, as far as we know, bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens do none of these things yet they can be very lethal. As our gummint becomes more and more the enemy of the people that very gummint becomes increasingly paranoid and for good reason. That paranoia produces behaviors that make it increasingly obvious just what the magnitude of gummint corruption really is. It is a vicious cycle. A cycle that is self defeating for corrupt gummint.
IMHO, there is an inflection point here somewhere and my senses tell me we are almost there. Our gummint is so corrupt, so paranoid, so encumbered by it’s own defenses it is completely dysfunctional. It is too paranoid to turn back and lacks any inertia to move forward. It is “spinning it’s wheels” as fast as it can but the burden it is carrying can not be applied as traction so it is completely immobile and unable to respond, meanwhile the engine and transmission are coming apart.
Somebody has to drive and cover retreat.
