“When I was on a cycling team, I shaved my legs.”
Years ago when I did a lot of cycling, I read they do it, in case they go down and scrape the hell out of their legs; and dried blood in hairy legs would complicate matters, versus shaved legs.
Is that correct?
Yes, road rash and leg hair do not mix well.
