The sad truth here is that most of today's young people have never been taught to honor anything!

The other sad truth is that neither did their parents.

I never thought I would live to see this day that we, in this country (especially their elders) will see the day that no one honors America anymore, at least not enough to defend her. Then she will be no more.

Some will always remember and know. Some will never forget the truth. Not in 100 years, nor 200. Some are all it takes.

Don’t get me started. I majored in History in
college and firmly believe that an objective study
of American history would produce patriotism in all
but a few confirmed morons. We don’t really study
the subject anymore except when it comes to perceived
mistakes that were made. The failure to study our
past objectively makes it possible for the haters to
brainwash students with disinformation.

It used to be that some of our most fervent patriots
were immigrants. Many understood that this place is
where all of us must make the final stand for freedom.
Today, too many immigrants are here to make only a good
living and partake of the goodies. They don’t give two
dead flies for the effort that others provided to give
us what we have. Of course, the Muslim issue is another
complete story in itself.
