You are correct. But Christ is clear that followers of His will be persecuted and killed. Those who think there will be some “special” generation that is going to skip out on this and be beamed out of here are sadly mistaken. From the Romans to today in Syria and around the world, Christians are being tortured and massacred in the most horrific ways, and children are not spared from these horrors. How Americans, who I love before God, can think that we are special and it won’t happen to us are being arrogant. God is no “respector of persons.”
But the end tells the story. We we’ll be the victors!
I’ve read the end of the book. I know who wins.

Persecution purifies and energizes the people who really know God.
If you go back in recent history (100 years) and begin connecting the dots it becomes obvious that Judeo Christians are the only groups that are standing up for the individual instead of the collective.
Of course the Muslims don't seem to be up to speed on the peaceful subversion program, and keep chopping and slashing, risking an awakening.

You are right but it concerns me that not as many people’s eyes were open as we’re hoping.
