I don’t think Dave Thomas would like what has became of Wendy’s either !!!

CHEESEBURGERS !!!! NOT ONE HAMBURGER !!!

If you order a CHEESEBURGER w/o cheese, it’s the same price !! Rip off the consumer every way you can !!!

Wendy’s has changed too, and I know they think its been for the better, and some of it has been... but I honestly prefer their old style burgers to their new ones... The new fries are superior to the old, but I do think the old burgers were better.

Wendy’s is still probably the best of the national burger chains.

Wendy’s is now run by the same management that used to run Arby’s.

All of them bigtime Democrats (look up their campaign contributions). Hence the laying awake all night thinking up new ways to scam more money.

When Wendy's came to Connecticut in the late '70s, I remember the extremely simple menu, and your burger HAD to be special ordered.

Single
Double
Triple
Chili
Fries (regular, Large)
Soft Drink
Chocolate Frosty

Cheese 20 cents (McDonald's was 10 cents for cheese)
Tomato 30 cents

Look at the bibs that they still have with the high chairs.
The original menu selections are still on it .

No Super Bar, no Biggie anything, no Big Classic, no chicken anything. No temporary specialty burgers. Even the baked potato (Wendy's temporary menu breakthrough that was large copied) was in the future. No junior anything. No salads. One register. Typical order: "Single, ketchup, pickle , onion, mustard" (in that order, as the condiment options were listed. Wendy's had lots of mayo, though, wheras McD's had NONE and BK only had it with the Whopper.

And the burgers were "Hot 'n' Juicy" and they were less salty. And they were good.

Sonic does that. Heck, you can order a regular burger and they'll automatically make it a double and charge you for it. E-v-e-r-y time. Sonic and Dairy Queen are the only drive thrus here. DQ doesn't season anything and has somehow figured out how to take every molecule of taste out of every ingredient. The local DQ concentrated more on drug dealing than dilly bars. I'm done with both of them.
