Katrina was racist, slamming a “chocolate city.”
Cocoa just got slammed.
I worked that area for a few years and then went back down to Broward.
One of my fellow crew members a black guy, asked me if there were many blacks in Cocoa as he was wanting to get out of Broward.
I told him Bob just look at the name.
He thought that was hilarious, but he was normal.
