Hence they are throwing America under the bus. Just as Hollywood did in the 20’s and 30’s.


Please elaborate. What did Hollywood do in the 20s and 30s to throw America under the bus?

Hollywood studios made a deliberate effort to avoid patriotic subject matter in the early days. This was in an effort to cultivate/maintain their standing in foreign markets (particularly in the silent era where the language barrier was far less of an issue). Too much Apple Pie and Patriotism would, it was thought, alienate these foreign audiences.

Only with the outbreak of WW II were Hollywood studios compelled to start embracing patriotism.

Hollywood has clearly reverted today, stripping every vestige of American patriotism from Wonder Woman, for example.

Hollywood was infiltrated by leftist and “fellow travelers” in the 1930s and 1940s.
