Its the govt largess and over reach that created the situation. If the govt wasnt restructuring its longstanding deals with ranchers, blatantly lying to them and destroying their livilihood none of this would be an issue and the Bundy/LaVoy thing would not even exist.

But they did, and in protesting that action Bundy is charged with breaking the law. Being a martyr is tough sometimes.

And as for Finicum he was armed, refused to obey the orders of the police, and made a move they thought was threatening. Police recently shot a guy in Charlotte for less than that.

But the guy in Charlotte wasnt led and encouraged into an ambush by paid covert FBI informant and forced into a situation where the police would be justified in killing him.

And the cop in Tulsa is charged with manslaughter.

I recently posted we’ve gone past abortion and euthanizing like Terri Schiavo to the point where people who look drugged up and are perceived as “threatening” can be killed by law enforcement.

The devaluation of human life and humanity has reached a new low.

Finicum’s truck was already under FBI fire as he exited.
One bullet went through the roof of the truck.

He was running away from shooting by the FBI when the OSP gunned him down. Finicum wanted to reach Sheriff Glenn Palmer in Grant County, OR next door to Harney County.

The FBI went through the snow to pick up their casings and five FBI guys lied about shooting at all.

Those agents are under internal investigation for what that’s worth nowadays...probably zilch.
