Try cigars.
Seriously. Start with three or so an day and then cut down to two a day, then to one a day. And eventually to one every so often and to none.
Worked for me several of the times I quit smoking.
I have been vaping for 4 years (after smoking for over 25 years). I started with 24 mg Nicotine bottles of juice and am down to 6 mg strength now, after ratcheting down over time. I really haven’t been able to tell a difference, but one thing that really grosses me out now is someone’s cigarette breath when they talk to me right after finishing. I started with a tobacco flavor, and moved on to fruity flavors like peach and pineapple. Spend a little extra and buy yourself a nicer unit with big battery life and keep an extra on hand in case it breaks. I reveled in the tax money that BIG GOVT Inc. wasn’t getting anymore, until here in NC they started taxing E-cig liquid in nicotine. I am well on my way of getting to 0 mg liquid, but I am sure by the time I get there, BIG GOVT Inc. will have figured out a way to tax it anyway.
The “Uncle Buck” plan?
Yeah right, I quit smoking for 12 yrs and then started sneaking the occasional cigar. I ended up with a 6 cigar a day habit that was much worse than my 2+ pack a day cig habit. I tried and tried to quit cigars without any luck it was a far more powerful addiction because you are taking in far more nicotene with cigars.
After 5 or 6 years of this I finally decided I had to take drastic measures to rid myself of cigars. What worked for me was switching back to cigarettes for exactly 6 months. I set a cutoff date for cold turkey and stuck to it.
I'm tobacco free for almost 9 years now.
Cigars may have worked for you, but cigars nearly destroyed me.
