I had read Catch-22 many times before going to its movie premiere in Atlanta. The dialogues were verbatim to the book. I mouthed the actors’ lines along with them. Neat.

Hence an enjoyable experience :-).

I get frustrated with the screenplay writers that play "I can do better than this" mentality. Of course an investor/producer signs off on this and think its Ok so "who am I to judge".
