Arnie made professional golf and he started millions golfing. He was its foundation and beginning.I remember when jack began to challenge him, we sere so pissed at Jack. But it was Jack’s time but no one will argue that Palmer did not explode not only pro golf but he got millions to try the Sport. He was Golf.I went to the Open in ‘67. I went over and sat down near the putting green to watch them warm up.I was 6 feet from some guy putting 8 footers . It was him. It took my breath away. We he walked off, I walked behind him and followed him all 18.He played with Doug Sanders. I am so glad I did. Thanks Arnie.
