Yes, in what I think was his last start, he beat the Nationals 1-0 against one of our best pitchers. Very sad, especially as a division rival who also was close to one of our better pitchers...so sorry for the loss to his friends and family.
He and Gio Gonzalez were buddies. They’re both of Cuban extraction and both lived in Miami. They knew a lot of the same people.
