Breathtaking music and views
*** “I have travelled to many fantastic places around the globe... but I can tell you the most beautiful place in the world is my cabin” ***
Think I ran out of Beer there once ... sorry I haven’t returned. Went to Ketchikan because they had un-frozen beer ;^)
(No... I actually live in Texas, but I LOVE ALASKA too)
If your Cabin is not in Alaska, it must have been someone else I was thinking of.
*** “The desert night sky is a gift from God” ***
High Mountain passes in New Mexico... the stars are AMAZING!
Added bonus drink 2 beers and you can’t walk, sleep like a baby and wake up like you are 20 years younger (older guys will understand) for a few minutes until you are out of breath.
I agree!
A real firecracker. A doer. Always action ready and very fun loving. Sometimes I have to hold her back.
We are going back in two weeks. My wife got free tickets (one press pass plus one guest). Yesterday we spent a total of 155 euros ( including train tickets) and that was with my wife getting in free because people who show it is their Birthday get in at no charge.
Plus I thought you can’t bring in food, which technically might be correct but we saw plenty of people with food and no one checked our bags. Still, it was a Birthday and we had a great meal but this time we are bringing food so 75 euros should be enough this time.
:)
Last night when we got home, my wife learned an old friend had died from a short severe illness at age 55. When I first me my wife she was unemployed and we planned for her to come live in the USA. But in the time we were doing that this friend offered her a “dream job” as a music editor for a Berlin magazine. So my wife invited me to come live in Berlin.
Now we are happy from yesterday but really sad about her friend, whom I’ve known from dozens of meetings at events, dinner at his home and such. A nice guy with a friendly aura.
His son is 18 and daughter is 14.
Enjoy life while you have it.
I’m getting a hat and coffee mug I passed up on. :)
Not Alaska but funny that you mention Ketchikan as I spent quite a bit of time there and in the surrounding area years ago.....
Told my wife the first thing I want to do when we go back is hunt this bird, with my camera. She said she saw two.
We went around a bit and took turns swimming for pictures then we put the cameras away in the locker. That's why first thing I want to do is hunt it with my camera.
