True that. I still subscribe to the monthly magazine. It's a long tradition that I'm not ready to break. But RD is cutting back to try to save money, and it shows.
And that's a real pity. RD is part of what was once America: Leave It To Beaver, Memorial Day parades, etc.
I remember reading them, along with my grandmother’s Harlequin romance books when I would visit in the summer. Great memories.......
Guide posts is also a lot of New Age trash that they try to pass off as Christian. Corny writing, too.

My parents started getting RD in the late 50s or 60s. I remember it being the first place I read about a horror movie, “Night of the Living Dead.” They were outraged at the scene where the little girl kills her mother and eats her. I was hooked.
