The text of the statute looks like they're going to mostly target manure handling operations and recovering gas from it. I wonder what companies make such systems and how much they've donated to political campaigns out there.

CA SB 1383

I especially like the part in the landfill section (42652.5-2) where it says this:

"Shall include requirements intended to meet the goal that not less than 20 percent of edible food that is currently disposed of is recovered for human consumption by 2025."

So, like in Venezuela, Californians are going to be eating they're own garbage!
