The debt is a monster. I recall Trump’s bringing it up, too, but as far as I know, he hasn’t addressed the magnitude. As I tell my 22-year-old son, things will go on more or less as they are, until suddenly they don’t, and then ... all bets are off.
Gather the clan, arm the perimeter, burn the fence palings to boil kudzu soup? Or maybe it won’t be that bad. But I’m sure Ukraine didn’t expect it to be that bad, or Venezuela.
Things are in flux, but they have been before. A classical education includes you both to endurance and to fatalism.
