Okay, how long before every other smart phone maker does the same thing, and will you tell them it's a stupid decision? Of course, by then you'll be praising the other companies like Samsung for doing the same thing, and will say Apple wasn't the first to do so. I've followed other changes in the industry over the last few decades, and it follows this pattern. Apple does away with an item, and replaces it with newer technology. Others, like Microsoft scream out that it's stupid. Within a couple years, Microsoft and the others do the same improvement and try to take credit for it. (Remember the Zune?) It's happened before, and it will happen again and again. It's remarkable how often the other manufacturers make stupid decisions by repeating what Apple does.
Motorolla already did it, I don’t remember anyone saying it was a good idea then.
You can already use wireless (Bluetooth) headphones with most other phones... or you can use the standard jacks.
No I think ANY company that does this now is stupid
