46 songbirds fall from sky in Boston

Health officials in Massachusetts are trying to figure out what caused a large flock of birds to fall out of the sky and onto a Boston street.

NECN reports 46 songbirds were found Thursday in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood.

Some of the grackles were found dead, while others were just sick. …

I like to watch crows too.

There is a bank near me that has a large,ground to roof,tinted window in front.

There is often a crow walking back and forth looking at himself in the window. Very funny.

The article doesn’t say where the grackles were congregating. There are windmills near Boston, glass windows, and tall communications towers. Flocks flying by night get confused. I’ve seen reports of thousands of the same species found dead in early mornings near Canadian towers. Northern Lapwings, as I recall.
