Yes, and no.

Paul said to the Athenians Acts 17:"29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising."

There is a balance point between the two, for Jesus did call them Children of Satan, and John did, too in 1 John 3: "In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother."

John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it."

My way of balancing it is to say that all of us originate from God, but some of us have chosen Satan's army.

Point taken. We all bear the image of God, although that image may be tarnished beyond recognition, and in that regard were all emanate from Him.

My point is that the leftist revisionists use this to justify our position to him, regardless of chosen behavior.
