“The wages of sin is death” says Romans 6:23 . . . but it doesn’t end there for it goes on to say,
“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”

Some sinners have entered into the status of ‘reprobate’ - they have told God ‘No’ so many times that they have hardened their hearts against any form of the gospel. Now while anyone with a desire can come to Jesus Christ and be saved - but even ‘straight’ people have the capacity to harden their hearts.

The end for both is the same, an eternity of separation from the love of God and His light.

Yes, I quite agree

In the eyes of our culture, "Heaven is just a sin away"

Being a reprobate has become the "norm"
