I guess they missed Camden.
My father was born and raised in New Jersey. He was a veteran of WW2.
Well, it has been run by democrats for 50+ years...
Then what the heck is Chicago? How many shootings and deaths this past weekend???
And here I thought it was the violent and destructive people living there that would cut your throat for a few bucks in your wallet.
Maybe a stroll through there on foot at 2:00 AM would change minds.
They haven't been to Detroit
My only time at Newark was at the airport, the airline put my luggage on the wrong plane. I went to the lost luggage counter and I encountered 2 young ladies on the phone with their boyfriends or friends and another filing her nails who proceeded to ignore me for at least 10 minutes. Needless to say, Newark did not leave a great impression.
So much for all the “hard work” Corey Snooker has done to turn that city around.
I HATE Newark airport. It’s the turd in a porta-potty that’s been dumped in a cesspool that drains in to the Port of New Jersey. BUT. That’s where my European flights usually connect.
Southern Jersey may be a little bit better, no? Or is the cancer going to spread even there?
Shame. My company’s HQ is in Newark, don’t go there unless absolutely necessary.
I don’t have that much exposure to Newark, and it was 20 years ago, but I don’t recall it as being any worse than Philadelphia by the Schuykill bridge, or the bad part of the Bronx. I remember their airport was weird, an elevated ramp for rental car return that was very easy to miss. Didn’t have good connections to here, either. Only bonus was the SAAB turboprop they used was actually a very nice, comfortable plane. Preferred those to that awful Fokker F-28 that USAir was so fond of.
I've been laid over for hours and hours and hours at Newark airport over the years!
At least there are bars at the airport that you can drink at...while you are waiting for your connection.
