Now that makes a lot of sense..I have an Android device that cannot access the Web without signing up to toms of Google accounts...even though I downloaded a seperate Browser..

I rooted my old phone so I could have more control over all the apps.

I've upgraded to a newer(still too old phone) and I need to root it.

But I'm thinking of getting a newer one. But either one, I'm definitely going to root it to gain control.

After all its just a Linux operating system.
