I may be in the minority on this, but to be honest, I think the last several Bond films have been a little too indulgent of Bond (Skyfall) or just over the top (Quantum). I was disappointed in both and passed on Spectre. And I still prefer Sean Connery.

Yeah but Sean is now 112 years old.
The first three with Connery were the best (Dr No, From Russia with Love, and Goldfinger). Never Say Never was a big loser, even with Connery.
Skyfall, I thought....from the bad guy prospective....was a five-star movie.
Daniel Craig looks bored. No passion in that guy.
