I've been a subscriber of both Netflix and Amazon Prime for several years.

I recommend Amazon Prime for movies.

The movies on Netflix are 99.999% B movies that you've never heard of.

If it weren't for the Netflix produced shows exclusive to Netflix (House of Cards, Daredevil, Stranger Things), I would cancel my subscription.

Amazon Prime has a LOT of newer major release Hollywood movies that are free for subscribers. Plus, you get the other perks of Amazon Prime membership such as reduced price for items and free shipping.

I recommend Amazon Prime.

Can somebody email me the links to the sites that were in Posts #2 and #5.

For some reason, the hall monitor nerd deleted them.

That is exactly what I said in my first post of this thread--that Netflix may have MORE selections, but their quality is "made for DVD" in most cases. Most of their films have titles I've never seen on a theater marquee. I don't watch TV series, so there is no attraction for me in the TV shows you mentioned or others.

I got my Amazon Fire TV stick yesterday and hooked it up. When I was successful in streaming on my SmartTV, I signed up for my free 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. I watched a very good movie about the romance between the Queen of Denmark Caroline Mathilda and the king's physician, who was hung, drawn and quartered by corrupt court council members at the end. If I could consistently get good movies like that, it would be great. I had to search quite extensively to find that movie in the Amazon offerings. They annoyingly have TV shows mixed in with their movie offerings.
