Looks like the majority of States's age of consent is 16, interesting.
Maybe they should just lower the age of majority to 16 and repeal alcohol and tobacco age-restrictions (or at lest tie them to the age of majority); it'd sure keep things nice and uniform as far as special ages are concerned.

What the map does not show is that the age of consent maybe 16 but an 18 year old cannot have sex legally with a 16 year old in a lot of these states. At least that how it is in my state.
