Matter of fact, yes, I had my very own Jersey dairy cow on a family friend’s farm. I slept on her back. I just thought she was on the lazy side, except when milking time came twice a day. They can move pretty quickly then. They do have a “pecking” order. LOL!

They sure can. I'll never forget Dad standing at the feed lot fence yelling "sooey heifer, sooey heifer!" and after a few minutes they would all come running over the hill to get their mouthfuls of feed. We only had one milk cow but she was also a Jersey. Great life growing up! You never have to call a milk cow, she is always there waiting to be milked.
