If that hit on quarterback Tony Romos back looked bad, theres a good reason for it. It was bad.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Romo is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with a broken bone in his back. The team will be announcing the injury; its unclear whether the team will put a duration on the absence.

Luckily, Dak Prescott is probably better than a healthy Romo is anyway.
He’s 36 years old in a very demanding game. Maybe he wants to beat Tom Brady’s record of longevity. Romo should get out while he’s still healthy . Try ESPN for a sportscaster job.
Romo doesn’t have the personality to be the color commentator for a PeeWee football game. This is coming from a lifelong Cowboys fan.
Kapernick does not like dealing with the press, just ask him. Especially not when his team loses. He can be like a reluctant teenager dragged into church.
I thought the bone in his throat was the problem.
When it comes to personality or charisma, you either have it, or you don’t. The mistake is when an unappealing person puts their all in pretending to be someone exciting and charming, fooling no one. Yes, I’m thinking of Hillary.
Not the word I’m looking for but thanks.

Scary when you see it.
doesn’t he break easily?.....has he ever completed a full season?....
not standing for the anthem is not going to go over well in Dallas....
Thank you, I had not seen the video until now.
Tony, for the love of Pete, hang them up and go live life !
Didn’t Romo step in for Bledsoe too?
Go Dawgs!
Schadenfreude - Taking pleasure in others’ misfortune.
Honestly, though, I’d rather Romo play. He’s guaranteed to screw up any pressure situation. Easily one of the most overrated quarterbacks in the NFL. The new kid looks like he has talent...
Guessing transverse process fracture. Cam Newton had two in that rollover crash. Normally heals quickly, but for a banged up, 36 year old QB, might take longer. The ‘Boys have a below average defense. They need offense to win. Will be interesting to see what happens. #HTTR #GoChargersGo
Yes that’s it. Don’t really care for the Cowboys and their bandwagon fans who live nowhere near Dallas.
No. Compression fracture of the bone next to the tailbone. Probably very painful to walk, much less play football, and probably pretty dangerous should it get damaged further.
“Romo is done” He could retire and open a steakhouse.
He will be well done then......
