If Trump is elected, Comey needs to be the first person he fires. This would set a good example of his intent to clean up the government.

If I were Trump I would tell director Comey that "I'm inaugurated at 12:00 noon on January 20, 2017. Your resignation will be on my desk by 12:01 and it will be accepted and Rudy Giuliani will be named the interim director of the FBI. If your resignation isn't forthcoming, you will be fired."
