when slavery was abolished, there were a good percent of slaves who just refused to leave the plantations.
they were scared, they didn’t know what to do with themselves, they had a home, they had food, and they were afraid of the unknown.
this mentality has been kept prevalent by the dems, who want to scare blacks into thinking a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, no matter how crappy that bird is.
