This morning as I was out running errands I happen to tune into The Mike Gallagher Show and his topic was have you lost friends in this election, Liberal friends, etc. because of your support for Donald Trump.
Gallagher related that he had, and it was a person formally who supported Trump but now will just sit at home and not vote at all regardless of the dangers of a Hillary Presidency.
Well that hit home for me. Last night I had had enough of my Facebook account and closed it. I have a number of friends on there that regardless of the corruption being exposed will not listen to any cogent or logical reasoning on not voting for her.
I have debated, offered documentation and facts to those I have engaged and yet nothing seems to deter these people and on top of that I am called names and accused if all manner of things not true.
I have always tried to be careful and deliberate on whom I would friend on Facebook, but of course you have people you have known since grade school or college you have kept in touch with and now you find out what they think and what you think politically are 180 degrees off.
The last straw was last night with a couple of people who on the surface would seem to know better and yet they are willing to settle for a criminal and have little interest in getting to the truth. That was it for me and I promptly closed my account.
Depending on the election results I may or may not revisit Facebook on November 9th.
I am to the point that if Trump does not win I am not sure whether I will ever vote again. I am not sure there will be another Republican candidate that can or will ever win again after four to eight years on more Democrats, Will there be anything left to really salvage after all the damage that will be done????
Only God knows and I pray almost everyday for this country and it's future.
My left-wing friends and I have decided not to discuss politics. Just not worth it.
I do however discuss with probably the most radical of them. But we both agree at least we hear each other out and keep it civil. And we do have some good discussions

I don’t use fake book. In conversations with friends I have become an outcast, not because they support Clinton, rather, because I support Trump whom they don’t care for either. There is no swaying these people so my best hope is they stay home on election day.
The other day I made an offhand, negative, reference about Clinton in regards to something not political. I thought my neighbor would come unglued, she is a big dem, will be voting for Clinton, and her husband who was standing next to her said there is no changing her mind as she has voted dem for 40 years. She is obviously one of the 47% that the hag starts with.

I've considered a move myself. How difficult is it for an American with no familial ties to Spain to actually move there? I'd like to retire when Jr. is out of college and enjoy the Golden Years.
I actually got along better with Bernie supporters than Hillary supporters.
What I can’t stand about Hillary supporters, is that they are sheeple who just go by what they hear in the media. At least the Bernie supporters were better read and in general, had the same mistrust of the media that we have here, albeit for different reasons.
I have lost three friends in the rancor of this election. Never have I seen such division in the nation.

Yeah, this is where I stand too. If the elections weren’t rigged that means that about half of Americans shouldn’t be here.
Seriously. Shouldn’t be here. They like socialism / communism so much ? There are TONS of temperate places to move to, where English is spoken, that are communist shitpits.
I started Facebook and stuff when Obama was in. And I ended it about 8 months ago.
Facebook was full of people that I enjoyed talking to but it was, and is, a place for the enemy to congregate. And these social media places are run solely by the enemy.
I don’t need to tell you this, everyone here knows. But Facebook recreated friendships that had fizzled out because of moving and stuff. That was sad. Since I left I gave everyone a way to get me, call me, text me, whatever. And not a single soul does.
How can you be friends with anyone who supports Extremist and or radicals, marxist, fascism, BLM, any violent/destructive protest, the welfare state, dumbing down America, sissifying as many of our young males as possible?
Gay marriage, Big Government, 20 trillion in debt? How can you be friends with anyone who generally disrespects or has contempt for our Flag, our Constitution, Capitalism..our way of life?
Hi neighbor is see your not going to work today because you get a “crazy check” Well, not to worry i am killing myself so i can pay taxes and support your lazy ass. Well, enjoy smoking your marijuana all day or sniffing bath salts or whatever it is you do.

At best they are clueless or more likely passively complicit. Either way they are a drain on the system.
Generally I drop potential friends when I find out they are liberal. But I do have a few “friends” who allow me to continue our friendly relationship because I usually don’t argue or get into politics with them, knowing there is no point. Recently one of those few tried to embarrass me at a cocktail party by outing me. While they continued snickering and making fun of conservative views I simply thanked the host for the hospitality so all could hear and left without further comment or drama.
As far as liberal friends go, there was a time when I was polite to these people. Now, I totally ignore them and have nothing to do with their existence on this planet. By their actions, they are proving they hate this country, and I have an issue with that attitude.
I’ll bet it helped a lot of people to figure out who the traitors in their families were.
If I had any liberal friends I wouldn’t care if I lost them. I do have some liberal relatives and I don’t want to lose them. Except for that one in Kookiefornia and I would just as soon lose that one.
I figure that’s up to them. I’ve backed a couple of them off pretty hard and we’re still speaking. But after their Queen goes down in flames, that may no longer be the case. No loss.

And the division is not just between left and right.....but between the right. The anger coming from the nevertrump people on the right....is something I never thought would happen.
United we stand....divided we fall.
