Are hearing impaired permitted to drive?
I am asking. I legitimately don’t know.
I didn’t realize they were either. Immediately, what comes to mind is the train whistle or the fire engines’ siren, or the blowout of your rear tire.
Yes. They are. So are people without legs or only one arm.
In many places deaf people are allowed to drive. But for at least 26 countries, deaf citizens are not allowed to have a license (Living With Deafness). Also in many of the states, deaf drivers are required to have a special license to be able to identify themselves as deaf.Nov 22, 2008

That would be discrimination against the hearing-impared, doncha know. PC killed his guy who should not have been behind the wheels and be a danger to others on the road. But let us all crucify the cop.
