Thanks for the input there - My father is moving to Johnson City and I know quite a few people who also moved into this area and they nothing but good things.

If he’s down there then that means I can be there too if things get bad for one reason or another. TN Vaccine laws state that I need a religious exemption, and the affidavit contains “I understand that I am putting my child at risk (sic)”

TN is a consideration but Kentucky is still higher on our list.

If I find something about KY that bumps it off then TN is next to review.

We’re also considering IN and VA/WV as places.

Johnson City can get steamy hot in the summer - the mountains block the breeze. Holston valley to the west might be a bit more pleasant. Or perhaps north up toward Bristol. And if you ever need to run, you can get to KY, VA or NC pretty quickly.
