Yes, he is using the teleprompter more now. Admittedly, he is not used to this new tether, but he is getting the hang of it. What I think the teleprompter provides Trump is a more compact, structured speech, with tons of detail packed into the content. His policy speeches have been this way and very well received. Trump is a quick study and he will master the teleprompter. I can see improvement every time he has used it.

No, you can tell he's reading. The intonations and pauses are unnatural. Regardless, the reason for the use of the TelePrompTer is to keep Trump from wondering and never returning back to the point he was discussing 5 minutes prior.

Trump thinks so fast, unfortunately, he gets side-tracked and sometimes fails to make his point. He's getting better now using the TelePrompTer.
