Heres one more group millennials are ignoring as they spend time glued to their smartphones airline personnel.
About 61% of millennials admitted to hiding behind electronic devices in order to avoid interacting with airline staff, according to a survey market-research firm Mintel conducted among 2,000 adults. Beyond millennials, less than half of Generation X those born roughly between 1965 and 1980 say they avoid airline personnel, and less than 37% of baby boomers said so. Automated technology is increasingly replacing people for cost-savings and convenience, and few travelers still value the human touch in the process.

cuz 30% of them have over 1,000 sex partners and therefore NEVER regard ANY advance as sexual harassment..?
Try me —there’s precious little I wouldn’t believe about American popular culture, these days.
We have been treated badly by Delta. Never again.
I have a few manual boxed but only one roadworthy.
A few months back I had the windshield on my 16 Tacoma repaired from a rock on the interstate by a mobile guy.
He told me that they hired some 20-ish guy there. One day a mini came in for new glass and the guy asked for someone else to drive it in. He said it had two brake pedals.
Wait, cuz some Arabs refuse to talk to females or risk touching their hand..?
Hmmm...cuz guys won’t be asked to wear a hijab..?
Cuz gay guys won’t hit on female passengers..?
Based on pictures I’ve seen I have to agree. What little I’ve flown commercial has been domestic USA. A couple of noteworthy maybe there.
At one time people actually communicated with each other by speaking and
holding a conversation instead of sending text messages back and forth.
One of them was “Patient Zero” for AIDS.
My cursive is on par with an arthritic chicken. The print isn’t any better.
“but I just enjoy conversing when standing in a line or something similar....”
Me too-——and I’ve met some great people because of it.
.
Yeah chowder head go to mama’s vineyard and vacation with the Obamas.
I remember that..!
Some male steward from Quebec, I believe, Patient Zero.
The docs were asking him about the number of his partners, and every time he paused to think about it more, his estimate would go up.
Up and UP and UP and UP, and they were completely shocked.
It was in a movie, that amazing scene.
Wowzers.
Mostly reason #3 plus less turnover for reasons you WOULD believe and little chance of fornicating with the cockpit crew.
Have you thought about writing Rx’s for a second income? ;-)
My kid wanted a manual car. Never drove one. Found him one. Teaching him was painful. I made it look so easy, and he about snapped the CV joints. Nothing at all like shifting with a game controller! He was almost crying, had a harsh reality day.
Most probably have no idea what one is anyway.
The current old vehicle and motorcycle projects have had that as one of several common problems.
Getting that Weber 32/36 adapted to fit on my F-134 Willys CJ5 was well worth it. I wound up putting in a check valve, fuel regulator and an inline pressure gauge. I’d already gone with electric fuel pumps. I will never go back to mechanical.
I’m still on hold for the CB750s that I sent off for rebuild but expect them any time now based on the last thing I got back.
The old K5 could use another 4 barrel.
Yep...So have I...Plus, it helps make the wait go by faster it seems....
I had to rent a car for a few days recently because the clutch cable broke in my car. The brake pedal is really wide in some automatic cars. I nearly threw myself against the steering wheel when I went to stop, since I wanted to put one foot on the clutch, the other on the brake... braking with both feet at once was quite intense.
Oh brother......it must be bash Millenial Day. Who cares if they say hello. The employees should be doing their job and not worrying about a hello. If a ticket agent has time to complain about a hello they are not doing their job. No wonder lines go on forever. And as far as Flight Attendant, they’re job is safety....that is primary task they have. Being cool is not part of it. And that goes for everyone else who complains. I have to admit if I am by myself at a restaurant, I am glued to the phone and it can be annoying when the waiter arrives and wants to take my order and I have not looked yet, but I shoo them away until I am ready. I think workers need to stop taking things personally. If a waiter has to go away while I get myself together then go wash tables. There is always a task available to do while they wait.
