[[More than 70 Republicans have signed an open letter to Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus urging him to stop spending any money to help Donald Trump win in November and shift those contributions to Senate and House races.

The letter comes as a number of Republican senators and high-profile GOP national security officials have come forward saying they cannot vote for Trump. ]]

If they can’t vote for Trump then we can’t vote for them.

Well, my feeling is that Trump should dump a lot of people from the Republican Party, too. I suspect there are millions of voters like me on that point. I guess we’ll see when the votes are counted.

Politico coordinates with the DNC what they want published.

From ABC to CBS, from the nyt to the lat. These so called msm protect and defend the Democrat candidate.

Baraq 0bama and Hillary Clinton are just the most recent.

Are these people really so stupid that they don’t understand the only thing they’re doing is helping to bring an end to the Republican party? The RNC already has a written money-sharing agreement with Trump, so nothing they say will change that. All they are doing is alienating the 45% of Republican voters who supported Trump in the primaries and the much higher level than that who want him to beat Hillary in Nov. By stabbing regular Republican voters in the back, they are making it very hard to ever vote for an establishment Republican again.

If they had sucked it up like we did with Romney and McCain, then the party could have continued on like usual, but by trying to destroy the choice of the people, these establishment figures are bringing on the final fracture and death of the GOP. That may turn out to be a good thing if we are lucky and a better party quickly replaces it, but it may just result in long-term Democrat one-party rule.

Is anyone on FR good enough with math to figure out what % of 55 million Republicans is 70 losers signing this letter?

It’s some infinitesimal fraction of 1%. I know that.

70 why is this a story. Over 13 million votes for Trump and over 65 million will vote for him in November. Screw these 70 babies looking for attention.

What these anti-Trump RINOs don't understand is that conservative Republicans have held their noses, kept their mouths shut, and supported and voted for guys like Romney for years.

Now those same RINOs have shown us that they are unwilling to do what they have asked us to do for years.

Any Republican candidate who isn't out there working from Trump's election should assume they won't get any support from fellow Republicans. And that particularly applies to Republican elected officials who couldn't be bothered to attend the Republican convention, like Sen. Kelly Ayotte.

If those Republicans expect any votes from conservatives in November they better get to work supporting the Republican presidential ticket. Or start planning on what they are going to be doing after they aren't a senator, governor or representative any more.
