“I suspect all of the blanket presidential pardons will take care of that.”

Can you pardon someone that hasn’t been convicted of a crime though? The charges would be filed after Obama is out of office. I don’t think you can pardon someone for future crimes though knowing DC these days, I’m sure there’s “precedence” for that (probably something Bush did).

Gerald Ford pardoned Richard Nixon for crimes he had not been convicted of.
