1. How does a sojourn into insanity help ANYone? One isn't in his/her right mind. How can insanity be of ANY benefit? Insanity is a severe mental illness. One can only pray for that poor tormented soul.

2. God ALWAYS has more patience than WE do. He would have to, wouldn't he?

It can serve as a contrast when a return to sanity comes. The bible even spoke of this happening to Nebuchadnezzar.
