It showed up, because people who had been in effected areas, went to one of them on vacation, got bitten, and brought the disease back when they came here. They were then bitten by American ones and so the disease was spread.

Well look.... The ruling elite have determined that the population must be reduced. The reasons are varied, but basically, we are breathing ‘their’ air.
Wars are expensive. Abortion helps, but the most cost effective way to get rid of unwanted humans is by disease.
Add one more detail onto your list....communities in the US are doing anywhere from an effective job to a lousy job in mosquito control. When I stationed around Shreveport in the 1980s...they sprayed weekly in neighborhoods and you just didn’t have any mosquito issues within the city limits at all. I would be asking about these Florida communities and what they were doing before all this hype?
Yes, that’s a BIG problem too and I don’t know why some places spray and others don’t do it well, if at all.
The Zika virus is essentially harmless. This scare is just another attempt to get people spun up.
It appears in our country because we are stupid, and let turd worlders come in through open borders. That is why Russia and China do not have it.
People who have the Zika virus already in their blood stream were hauled in here by Obama.
THEY are the reservoir in the transmission cycle.
The mosquito is simply the transmitter. It must bite a human who has Zika in order to spread it.
