I always liked Bob Hope. Also like Danny Kaye and Red Buttons. Yes. I think you are the first mention of Danny Kaye. Someone mentioned "the Court Jester" earlier, but I don't think they mentioned Danny Kaye.

Danny Kaye was fantastic. But I really wasn’t mentioning comedians because it was too hard to think about!
Bob Hope was truly great.

Thanks for the link. It's a good clip. I've wondered how someone could hear the full script routine if the audience was laughing. I'd forgotten the lightning striking the suit of armor and magnetizing it. I could never have imagined Robert Middleton as the antagonist night and that made him all the more hilarious to me.
