A bit similar to Karina Vetrano who was killed in NY;
Similarities, both went out jogging. Both beaten badly.
It probably isn’t the same perpetrator, the perp would have to travel, this happened in Massachusetts but something to bear in mind.
Karina is a recent case which came to mind.
There was a similar case in San Diego some years ago.
