She was from NYC so if she was not one of Bloomberg’s private militia, the NY Governor’s private guard, etc. she would not be able to possess a gun and probably any type of effective pepper spray. Probably the best she could do legally was to run with a gang of 5 - 6 others and carry big sticks.
She was born and raised not far from where she was murdered.
