It’s really nothing more than a business making millionaires richer that a vast amount of the world will never meet or see. And people are willing to pay the price to make them that way. Sports is expensive entertainment, nothing more.

“To use (something valuable, such as talent) in a way that is not appropriate or respectable and especially to earn money.” Wouldn’t you say that trying to hit someone hard enough to harm them could qualify? And only a few people can play the game at the pro level due to size speed and training of which the first two can’t be taught? What I gave you at the start of this paragraph is Webster’s definition of a prostitute. Hitting people on the street is a jailable offense, a crime against humanity, a law for the protection of society.

In the center of life, sports is nothing. Our military members facing death for our children’s safety, that means something. But the sports millionaires that own teams haven’t figured out a way to make money on it. But if they did, they would. Sick, isn’t it?
