Anecdotally. People tell me I have a similar quality. Dogs, cats, dunno why, they just seem to like me. For instance, biking with a friend of mine and an unleashed dog came running up and barked madly at him. I debarked, and it was like the dog and i were old mates. Strange as at the time I’m not a dog owner or something where scent would build that.
Can’t really explain it. I do like animals, without feeling a need to anthropomorphize them. Apparently they like me more than my friends/siblings. I don’t know what to read into that.
My two male cats consider me their personal hero, though I’ve done little to foster the notion. :)
Dogs invariably know I will play with them, come shoving their knot ropes into my hand.
