If Donald Trump loses, the Republican party is over.

Appears to me it’s already over. The power brokers lost the nomination process and now
an outsider to their internal works is now the head of the ticket. Their hope is for Trump
to lose and then regroup in four years under another candidate, example Cruz.
I don't know if you're a Star Wars fan or not but if you are, recall Luke's final attack run through the Death Star trench.
He either made the shot or he didn't and EVERYTHING hinged on him making that shot. If he failed, EVERYTHING was lost.
I guarantee you, this election is just like that. The Republican party may carry on in name for a while but it's spirit will be destroyed and it will be an empty hollow shell masquerading as a vibrant political party. It will wither and wane as it's reasons for existence disappear before a radical liberal supreme court.
