This is more than 10 years old but one of the scariest suspense movies I've ever seen is “The Silent Partner” with Christopher Plummer and Elliot Gould. A very clever story line for a suspense film and it grabs you from the beginning and never lets up.
I saw it twice in its very limited run back in the last ‘70s. It's a sleeper in every sense of the word. It should be more well known.
