The Koch brothers don’t have anything to do with social conservatism so I’m not sure what your
point is.

A social conservatism that looks to the government for solutions is not conservative at all.

“Hey, free markets is so 20th Century. Didn’t you get the memo, we are all Socialists now.”

The United States economy grew at its most rapid rate from 1865 to 1900. During that 35 year period the nation transitioned from an agrarian economy devastated by the Civil War to the worlds largest industrial economy. An unprecedented era of technological innovation also occurred in this country during this time as well as the emergence of a strong middle class. During this period the US had the highest protective tariffs in its history. In fact tariffs and duties financed the federal government as there was no federal income tax.

High tariffs, economic growth, and a prosperous middle class. Who would have thought looking at the “prosperity” brought by the modern day free traders and globalists?

“II wouldn’t say Charles and David plan to support or vote for Hillary.”

I would say that. I’d say exactly that. And so would they:

If you’re serious, it’s a pseudonym for the authors at Zero Hedge.

If you’re familiar with Fight Club then I applaud your question :)

I’m more familiar with Charles Koch, having worked for the company for more than 16 years.

The “Koch Brothers” aren’t real people in the eyes of the dems. They represent rich people supporting Republicans.
