As I understand it, the coons die nearly instantly from this material. They are found dead right at the feeding bowl. This would appear to be rather humane, but what do I know. I’m not a raccoon and I don’t eat the stuff.
Poisons are never humane. Even if they kill quickly, the animal still goes through a lot of pain and discomfort.
Shooting the animal works quickly. It dies before it knows anything is wrong. Well, if you aim well, that is.
