I have difficulty with the view that the shooter was provoked or egged on by a name calling “right winger”. My interpretation is that the German who was shouting at the “Sh-t foreigner” was an unarmed Hero who risked his life by distracting the terrorist from his mission and bought time for armed police to be called. One of the early transcripts I saw of the exchange suggests that it ended with the German being killed.
