Holy smokes. I don't mean to be dramatic, but I just suffered a major meltdown. I do not know how or why. But I think I may be in trouble. What should I do?
Based on what you just wrote, I think you should go to the Emergency Room. There could be any number of explanations, many benign, but some potentially serious. If you feel OK right now call a relative, friend or neighbor and ask them to take you. If you are not feeling OK then stop chatting on here and call 911 immediately.
Are you on any particular meds....have a history of high blood pressure or stroke?
lafroste -> “It was a very powerful hallucination. No idea where it came from. I feel somewhat better now.”
If you’re taking certain meds, don’t panic. But you really should tell the doc. Now if you ARE NOT on meds, it might be a good idea to reveal the details.
The 1980s were extraordinarily stressful for me.
My daily 3 mile walks, alone with my dog, got me through it.

Eat eggs.
I would advise going to the hospital and getting checked out. Seriously. Could have been a mini stroke. Please go now. Need assessment and a scan.
Good,,.
Now go to the ER—take a taxi or call a friend.
DO NOT DRIVE.
Sounds like a panic attack. I used to have them all the time - You can send me a freepmail if you want details of why.
But why I had them is going to be why more will be having them soon. There are about a million people here who are waking up to the reality.
But a panic attack can be everything you described... and more.
I agree wholeheartedly...just a little pissed seeing so many mocking posts...FR is a family, and I think we should treat each other accordingly.

I responded earlier before I saw this post. Get medical help——please.
.
do you pitch for the Minnesota Twins?
Try following Trumps example have the fit then when you get called on it call them a liar and deny it ever occurred!
Frankenstein never frightened me.....
Seek medical help!!!
If you are experiencing a major mental change, it could be a stroke!!!
As the caregiver of a stroke survivor, I beg you to get help. If not for your own benefit, then for the person/people who will have to take over your life when you can no longer handle your own affairs.
GO TO THE ER. NOW.
Strokes can ease in symptoms then return later AND KILL YOU.
She is right, you’re wrong.
Can you describe it, were you able to make any sense of what you're calling an hallucination?
Things like what you felt, saw, thought, even any smells that you might remember, recent food, drink, vitamins, whatever, record it now while the experience is still somewhat fresh in your mind.
Details can be helpful, but you often don't know which details are important except in hindsight.
