Pandering. Trying to appeal to listeners’ emotions. Sickening. Others could do it and it might work; he just came across as smarmy and insincere.
What get’s me about that whole story about the 9 year old girl is that he used her, her emotions, and her loss as a prop to make case for himself. I hope to God the young girl didn’t see that speech last night.
